Justice Court
The Village Court handles civil cases, with a maximum jurisdiction of $3,000, small claims with a $3,000 maximum, criminal cases, vehicle and traffic cases, and violations of village ordinances.

The Court does not accept service of filing of legal documents via email.
Confirm court sessions during inclement weather by contacting the Court Clerk's Office at 914-693-1703.
Traffic Summons: You must respond to the summons to prevent a suspension of your driver's license or privileges.
- You are responsible for notifying the court of any address change.
- You may respond via postal mail to your traffic summons that is NOT a misdemeanor.
- Points are imposed by the Department of motor vehicles. To learn more, visit the state DMV's Driver Violation Point System Page.
Statement on Electronic Devices:
IMPORTANT: Absolutely no electronic devices (cellular phones, tablets, e-readers, cameras, ets...) are allowed to be powered on in the courtroom. Failure to comply may result in your ejection from the courtroom.
Payments:
Payment can be made by money order or certified check made payable to the "Village of Ardsley Justice Court" Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card, or Debit Card. (A convenience fee of 3.5% will be added which neither the Village of Ardsley or the Village of Ardsley Justice Court receives any portion of).
